1. Three steps to download

1. Get the video link: in the source app tap “Share → Copy link”, or copy the video URL directly.
2. Paste it on the home page: paste the link into the box (for Douyin/TikTok you can paste the whole share text — the URL is detected automatically).
3. Pick a quality and download: tap “Parse”, choose a quality once the buttons appear, then download. On mobile you can save straight to your photo album.

3. FAQ

Q1. Do I need to sign up or log in? Will my account leak?

No. v8i8 needs no sign-up and no login, and never asks for any platform credentials. You only paste the link of a public video.

Q2. Why did parsing fail?

Common causes: (1) the link is incomplete or expired; (2) the video is private / friends-only / deleted; (3) the platform changed and we can’t fetch it yet; (4) it is a live stream or not a video page. Copy the link again and retry; if it keeps failing, email us.

Q3. The downloaded file has no sound?

Some platforms deliver high-quality video with separate audio and video streams. v8i8 merges them automatically. If you still get a picture-only file, try another quality or re-parse.

Q4. I can’t find the file / can’t save to my album on mobile?

iPhone: allow the browser’s “Downloads” permission; the file may go to the Files app first, then save to Photos.
Android: files usually land in the “Download” folder. X (Twitter) videos are saved to the “Recently Saved” album, not the main library.

Q5. Should I download right away?

Yes. Parsed video links expire after a few minutes. If you switch pages or come back later, please parse again.

Q6. Does it cost anything?

It is completely free right now. Third-party ads on the page cover server and bandwidth costs.

Q7. Do you keep my videos or the links I paste?

No permanent storage. Pasted links are used only for instant parsing; parsed files are cached on the server only for retrieval and deleted right after. See our Privacy Policy.

Q8. Can I download any video?

No. This tool is for personal, lawful use only. Download only content you own or that the platform explicitly allows. See our Disclaimer.

Q9. Why are there ads?

Because the tool is free: servers and bandwidth cost money, so we show third-party ads (e.g. Google AdSense, Adsterra) to keep it running.
